Tip: build one horizontal layer at a time from the bottom upward. Filled squares are blocks; the center crosshair helps keep your build aligned.

How to use this sphere generator

  1. Choose the diameter of your Minecraft sphere.
  2. Select full sphere, top dome, or bottom bowl.
  3. Pick hollow, solid, or thick wall mode.
  4. Use the layer slider and build each slice in Minecraft.
  5. Download a PNG or TXT blueprint for later.

Best for Minecraft builders

Use it for planet builds, observatory roofs, domes, arenas, towers, sky bases, underwater glass spheres, statues, and survival-friendly block planning.

What the downloads include

The PNG saves the currently selected layer. The TXT blueprint includes settings, layer block counts, coordinates, and command-style references.

What diameter should I use for a Minecraft sphere?

Odd diameters like 15, 21, or 31 are usually easier to center because they have a single middle block. Even diameters work too, but the center sits between blocks.

Should I build hollow or solid?

Use hollow for domes, glass spheres, rooms, bases, and decorative builds. Use solid for statues, planets, terrain shapes, or builds that should look filled from every angle.

Can this be used as a Minecraft dome generator?

Yes. Choose “Top dome” to generate only the upper half of the sphere, then build from the widest base layer upward.

Is this an official Minecraft tool?

No. This is an independent fan-made building helper and is not affiliated with Mojang, Microsoft, or Minecraft.
